Lyon by Washburn Electric Guitar Review

A guitar is an excellent rewarding instrument to play and learn with many subtle styles and characteristics. Testing out new guitars in the shop can be an intimidating task for beginners. Whether you’re buying your first guitar, upgrading or simply adding to your collection, your first priority is to do your homework.

Washburn makes one of the best guitars anywhere. The Washburn Company makes makes at least 70 guitars and has outstanding customer service. Washburn is mostly known for its electric guitars and acoustic guitars even though they make electric guitars, acoustic guitars, electric basses, acoustic basses, banjos, mandolins, travel guitars, and amplifiers.

The Lyon by Washburn Electric Guitar is a brand name used for the cheapest guitars sold by Washburn. Washburn Lyon Series is named after George Washburn's family name; styling borrowed from Fender's most traditional electric guitar designs, catering for mainstream tastes and affordable pricing. The Lyon by Washburn electric guitars are not high-end, and are basically educational guitars.

Dan Donegan from disturbed plays Washburn
Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme also plays Washburn

Both are very talented guitar players, and they choose Washburn as their guitars.

David Allen Coe, Live from Billy bob's Texas...He sings I play Washburn guitars with a rebel flag, but I don't wear make up and dress in drag. LOL

The main thing is the playing of the Lyon by Washburn electric guitar. If you are just learning, there is no need to have the most expensive guitar made, it won't make you practice. Only you can do that. A little time every day and you'll be playing great and be ready to find a guitar that suits your style.

You can also try a guitar processor you can plug into any amp that will give you many variations as to distortion, chorus, reverb, compression, etc. That way, you can customize your sound the way you like it.
